Parenting Classes for Breastfeeding, Pumping & Beyond

Louisville, KY | In-Person Classes Taught by an IBCLC

Feeding your baby is one of the most important — and sometimes most challenging — things you'll do. These classes are designed to give Louisville and Southern Indiana parents real knowledge, hands-on guidance, and the confidence to make it work. Every class is led or curated by Bonnie Holt Logsdon, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with over two decades of experience supporting families through every stage of the feeding journey.

Whether you're pregnant and preparing, heading back to work, introducing your first foods, or ready to wean, there's a class here for where you are right now.

Starting Solids Class- $65

A 90-minute class for families with babies around 6 months

Introducing solid foods is exciting — and a little overwhelming. This class cuts through the noise and gives you a clear, evidence-based plan for starting solids safely and confidently, whether you choose baby-led weaning, purees, or a combination of both.

We recommend waiting until your baby is at least 5–6 months old before attending, as solid foods aren't recommended until 6 months.

What's covered:

  • How to recognize signs of developmental readiness

  • Baby-led weaning vs. purees — what the evidence says

  • Food allergy introduction: what you need to know

  • Choking hazards and food safety basics

  • What foods to offer first and how to serve them

Babies and partners are welcome. Class fee is $65 per family (up to 2 adults).
